// If you want to see just how happy you are you can take a quiz here

This post made me realize how lucky I am to have such great friends. It also made me realize that MY happiness can actually affect their happiness even if I don’t actually do anything to/for them.

One a different note…

I realize that I have a habit to strive for my ideals. And don’t we all have an idea of what and how we want to be? So often though I delay my happiness while I wait for some change or improvement to happen. For example, I overlook the joy that Grace brings to me today when I think that I will finally be happy when she is finally sleeping well. If I look longingly toward a time when my life will be different, I miss the unique pleasure of the moment.

The best way to be assured of a joy-filled future is to cultivate happiness now. So, I’ve decided to take this little blog here on a journey into the present moment. My hope is that each turn we take (you are coming with me aren’t you?) will be rich and joyous, but I’m not making any promises. My goal is to take 40 days to really delve into all my blessings in the here and now. The journey begins on June 21st so start packing your bags and meet me here.
