QUICK CHECK IN

How are you enjoying our journey so far? What is happening to your commitment to your intention? Is your intention changing? Are you? How?

———————————————————————————————————-

Before beginning the meditation today shake out your arms and legs. Loosen all the tension and worry in your body. At the end of this 10 minute meditation you will feel fresh, alive, and juicy.

Senses meditation

Just a side note about having a soft belly:

My goal in writing this blog is to help bring more joy to my own life as well as to yours. All of the books and other websites I have read about happiness agree that eliminating stress is a key to being content, joyful, and healthy in mind, body and spirit. The fastest way I know of letting go of stress is to encourage my belly to soften. We spend so much time holding it in. I think it’s part of our culture today- especially for women. But when we do this the body and mind tightness uses up a lot of energy and actually restricts blood flow. This leads to fatigue and illness.

ASSIGNMENT:

Experiment with softening your belly now. Notice if your breathing becomes fuller. Are you able to relax more? Do you, almost automatically, feel a sense of  satisfaction wash over you? That, my dear, is the joy that I am after 🙂

So far-so great..havent felt this relaxed ( by that i mean non jittery- for over 27 years..
Coffee tries to lure me with the smell.. but i am strong..and feel more like “me”.. not hopped up on that lovely dark fluid.. So- its drinkwater drinkwater drinkwater drinkwater..havetopee havetopee havetopee..a rather viscous cycle..
yoga- is so wonderful and soothing, my teacher is patient and kind..oh, and i was mispronouncing Namste..NAmeste..i was gently corrected and not made to feel foolish..so my respect for her stands alot on that..her teaching is just what I need..

listening for hidden sounds from mother nature..she speaks such joy..and whispers in my ear..so i have to be still and know.

p.s. on the belly thing..really hard to relax my tummy.. i always felt it should be tight to keep those abs long and lean..a definite culture push..
