Before beginning the meditation today shake out your arms and legs. Loosen all the tension and worry in your body. At the end of this 10 minute meditation you will feel fresh, alive, and juicy.
Just a side note about having a soft belly:
My goal in writing this blog is to help bring more joy to my own life as well as to yours. All of the books and other websites I have read about happiness agree that eliminating stress is a key to being content, joyful, and healthy in mind, body and spirit. The fastest way I know of letting go of stress is to encourage my belly to soften. We spend so much time holding it in. I think it’s part of our culture today- especially for women. But when we do this the body and mind tightness uses up a lot of energy and actually restricts blood flow. This leads to fatigue and illness.
Experiment with softening your belly now. Notice if your breathing becomes fuller. Are you able to relax more? Do you, almost automatically, feel a sense of satisfaction wash over you? That, my dear, is the joy that I am after 🙂
