Our minds are constantly on the go, leaping from one thought to the next. It is estimated that we have 50,000 thoughts a day. That’s a lot of leaping! When will it ever cease?
Sit outside or in a public place and for 15 minutes watch the world go by. Note the incessant mind chatter that goes on. As each thought appears label it: judging, desiring, disliking, thinking the worst, angry, anxious, impatient, creating drama…
When I do this I find my mind actually slows down. It’s as if it knows it’s being watched so it behaves itself.
What do you find?
