Day 40: standing TALL

When humans first stood up we created a visible link between heaven and earth. To this day, when we stand erect we embody strength, lightness, stability, and balance. {Note: how is your posture in this moment?}

ASSIGNMENT:

It is our last day together, at least for a little bit, so let’s make it a good one.

  • Please stand up.
  • Place your feet solidly on the floor and imagine roots growing from your feet into the ground-Literally grounding you.
  • Imagine a hook in the sky is attached to the top of our head. Elongate the crown of your head up toward the heavens and slightly soften your knees. Lengthen your spine toward the floor without  clenching your butt cheeks.
  • Open your arms wide, making a T shape and allow your heart to open. Inhale, feeling your chest expand even more. Breath in and out 3 more times with your arms extended. Allow your arms to slowly (as if on their own) float back to your sides.
  • Now, Gently feel what it is like to be in your body. Share how your feel.

(I feel vital, centered, taller and ready to take the next step on this joy journey.)

    40 days already….that’s CRAZY! Thank you for taking us on this WONDERFUL journey! I think about many things you’ve taught since…especially the one about being more like our favorite animal. I’m working on that one DAILY! This has been a special gift; thank you!
