November is my No Stress Month

In our culture, we are taught to expect that having a baby will be the happiest time in a woman’s life. And for most women, childbirth and early parenting do provide great joy and fulfillment, I know it has for me. But, the truth is that women are more at risk of experiencing emotional difficulties following the birth of a baby than at any other time in their lives.

The thing is,  having a toddler continues to be a source of stress in my life. In fact, even those who don’t have kids complain that they are stressed out. And stress does not bring more joy!

This month I’ll be sharing a daily “stress less” moment. I hope you’ll join me and be encouraged to live with more joy and less stress.
