Talking Turtle

One of my favorite poses in my YogaKids classes (for times check out cool-karma-kids.com) Is TALKING TURTLE.

Turtles have mobile homes. Wherever they go, their house goes too. How cool would it be if we could just pick up and go.

Their house made of bone and is called a carapace.

When the kids pop their heads out of their shells they say hello in any number of languages.

ASSIGNMENT: learn to say hello in another language. Some favorites in my classes are Mandarin (“Ni Hao”), Spanish (“Hola”), French (“Bonjour”), Hebrew (” Shalom”), and Japanese (“Konnichiwa”).

PS According to National Geographic, there are 7 billion people on the planet speaking 7,000 languages, many of which are dying.
