Thomas Edison once said, “If we all did the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves.”
The whole reason I decided to do this was because I had a little aha moment. I realized that my life is like an arts-and-crafts project, that it is always in process and is only as colorful, interesting and exciting as I make it.
It is my deep hope and prayer that “doing” the Artist’s Way will help turn on the lights a little brighter and sparkle up my already very full (if not boring) life.
QUESTION: What does “doing art” mean to you?
MY ANSWER (Please share your own): creating, making, mastering, perfecting, helping inventing, initiating, experimenting, learning, drawing, changing, constructing, reading, moving, trying, challenging, testing, helping, building, writing, singing, dancing, hosting, cooking, painting, tasting, sharing, smelling, imitating, playing, enjoying, being, giving, acting, celebrating, loving…
Have you started reading yet? Do you even have your Artist’s Way
book? If not, get it, and hurry up! The train is leaving the station.
